Bjartur Sky Gleda - LooLoo (available for rehome)
LooLoo is the alpha in my household. She is fastidious about being clean - which has lead to her being called TwinkleToes since she seems to float above any dirt and mud on the Farm - quite an achievement at times!
Looloo earned her place on the farm within the first week...
I have a small heritage breed farm and concentrate on critically endangered livestock. To that end, I had just been blessed with a small flock of Colored Dorkings (a five toed breed of chicken originating from roman times). I had them in a portable chicken coop while in quarantine and yup, you guessed it, my husband had forgotten to secure the lid. I came home to find one dead chicken and only 3 out of the orginal 12 left. I was devastated! LooLoo was with me and she trotted off to sniff, as dogs are wont to do, and then she looked at me and barked. She didn't stop barking until I walked over to see what the fuss was all about - she, who had never seen any kind of livestock critter in her LIFE had done the incredible - she'd found a chicken! Not only did she find that chicken, but when I asked her to find the others that is EXACTLY what she did - she tracked and found every single missing chicken and with her help, I was able to capture them and put them back in to the safety of their mobile chicken coop.Needless to say, no matter what happens in the future, LooLoo is in her forever home.
